FIND A NEUROFEEDBACK PROVIDER

FIND A PRACTITIONER NEAR YOU

  1. The Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA) is a first step towards becoming board certified (not licensed) in Neurofeedback. Here are some topics to consider when seeking Neurofeedback therapy.

Is the practitioner certified by BCIA (if not, have they taken BCIA accredited workshops)?
  2. Can they create Brain Maps from 19 channel QEEG recordings?
  3. Can they explain the relationship between symptoms and the Brain Map?
  4. Do they employ z-score training along with other protocols?
  5. Have they trained others with your symptoms?
  6. Do they use computer driven assessment tools?
  7. Do they track progress by behavioral scales and/or retesting?
  8. Is continued training dependent on measurable progress?
  9. If in the USA do they have an active license as a professional health care provider?
