Why purchase a Freedom 10R?

10R is an easy way to start neurofeedback. 10 channel Z-score training can be very effective, making maps is easy because most of the locations are usually artifact free. Only Jewel DB software creates complete 10 channel Brain maps and a 1 year subscription is included. if you are looking to start neurofeedback within a few weeks, this is the way to go. Freedom 10R only has 10 channels so a full QEEG is not possible, so it would not be suitable for traumatic brain injury or visual disturbances both of which involve sites that are not covered by Freedom 10R. But helping clients with many other symptoms  is still quite possible and easy to do with this unit.

Freedom 10R does not require messy gels and cleanups are very easy, so many clients prefer this feature, especially clients who do not want any gel in their hair or who have to run directly to the office after training.  This unit is ideal for many but not all clinicians. Why purchase a Freedom 20R?

20R is an ideal way to start 19 CH QEEG neurofeedback for both surface and sLORETA z-score training. Many clients can be trained with 19 channel Z-score training, making maps is easy with Jewel DB software (and a 1-year subscription is included). if you are looking to start neurofeedback without the messy gels then this is the way to go. Freedom 20R is suitable for traumatic brain injury or visual disturbances because it provides a complete QEEG recording including all major cortical lobes. And with the sLORETA option subcortical locations can also be measured and trained.

 The Freedom 20R was designed for mature head sizes; however if your client base includes children then you will need a second Freedom 20R for children (not shown). Consequently, if you have both children and adults it may be wise to consider purchasing a Discovery 20/24 gel QEEG system (also sold on this website).
