The Discovery 24E is a 24-channel EEG and DC amplifier that is an evolution of the technology used in the 2E and 2EA (Atlantis) series of EEG biofeedback devices.  It is fully compatible with QEEG systems such as NeuroGuide , Loreta, SKIL , and WinEEG, and incorporates BrainMaster training capabilities including amplitude and connectivity training, including Live Z-Score training.

I own and operate a Discovery and was a former owner and user of Lexicor NeuroSearch 24. I take Discovery with me from office to office; it fits right in my bag.  Discovery's software acquires data in an advanced Window's format system rather than antiquated DOS. When acquiring data its helpful to set four channels up (T3, T4, O1, O2) in order to detect artifact -on the fly.

Discovery connects to your PC just like an Atlantis.  So, no new set of instructions were needed to get going the first time. I have used Discovery as a MiniQ while observiing "live" Z-scores. Of course, if you purchase Discovery from EEG shopping, we will make sure that everything works. If necessary we will take over your virus-free computer with go-to-meeting and do an online set-up at no charge.

Discovery can simulate the MiniQ mode. You might say why do I want a MiniQ?  When Discovery is in the MiniQ mode and set for Z-scores it cycles over any pattern of 4 sites to provide you with a living map. It is an advantage to compare a NeuroGuide static map with a live Z-score review (in 4 channel segments).

NeuroGuide's 19-channel Z-score training and works quite well with Discovery. But in order to use NF1 (NeuroGuide's 19 channel surface Z-score training module) the Disovery add-on must be installed.
